A love of making and of shooting collided to create Once Fired Crafts. It was less of an intention and more of a happy coincidence.

I was mostly woodworking, making things such as lamps, dovetailed boxes and small bits of furniture. The skills I had developed with that hobby gave me the confidence to try making other things when the ideas came to me. After a day on the range I figured out how to make some keyrings with once fired casings and the rest followed. Now I make as many things as I can think of from the brass and people seem to like it. That shouldn’t really be a surprise to me because I made the first few items because I liked and wanted them, but it always does surprise me.

Ok, maybe TEAM was the wrong word, I am the team. Ironically this is my least favourite role, however I do love that people want to buy the things that I make because it means that I can keep making things, which is amazing.
